We cut our visit to Washington, DC short because it was just too darn hot to walk around the city in the summer, though we gave it a good try. Still, we had fun and JC finally got to see the Jefferson Memorial which is pretty nice. We also walked to the Capitol this time and stopped in the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum where we got to see the Apollo 11 capsule.
