JC has been intensely memorizing the history of the Presidents of the United States for a while now, so it seemed about time to take the family to Washington, DC. The kids enjoyed seeing the monuments to Lincoln and Washington as well as the WWII Veterans Memorial and all of the states represented there. We were somewhat disappointed at how far away from the White House you have to stand but after three hours of walking no one was really eager to walk much farther anyway.
