Since we ended up working on Labor Day and things are now starting to slow down, the boss gave my team off this last Friday. When I found out that the kids also have the day off from school, this sounded like the perfect time to take a "last hurrah of summer" vacation. We drove down to Myrtle Beach, SC and stayed at the Sandy Beach Resort.
The hotel had several indoor and outdoor pools, all heated. There was a lazy river and a little playground pool with a submarine, as well as the two heated swimming pools, a hot tub and a jacuzzi. Not that is mattered because it was a fantastic 88 degrees out. Additionally the hotel was right on the ocean and our room faced out onto the Atlantic so we had a great stay.
