JC started our day off in a special way by doing everything in his power to resist a haircut. There was no negotiation possible. Observe Melissa's photographic debut in documenting her brother's misbehavior.
When it came time for Melissa's haircut, everyone had a much easier time at Kid's Kuts.
Then it was off to the Brandywine Zoo. JC was more interested in the idea than the actual zoo, and really Melissa was more interested in the map than anything else but it was a decent 20-30 minutes to walk through the whole thing. Yeah, that included ice cream. It is a pretty small zoo, but pretty.
The Brandywine River area in Wilmington is a very beautiful area and the weather wise very nice. The relaxing area almost offsets having kids with you.
We are finishing up the day with some family prepared corn. A relaxing evening will do us all some good.
